This melon-like fruit has yellow-orange flesh and a thin skin that varies in color from green to orange to rose. Papaya’s tropical taste is vaguely similar to pineapple, although milder, creamier, and more fragrant, with a texture of slightly over-ripened cantaloupe. Freeze-dried or Drum-dried Papaya is a perfect way to add real fruit to your food products.

Papayas pair well with a myriad of other foods?from sweet to savory. Freeze-dried Papaya can be a surprisingly sweet inclusion to bakery products such as quick breads, muffins and breakfast bars, and confections.
